Location
The Quaives is located in a small hamlet nestled between fields in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside. The 19 acres of gardens and wild walkways were previously owned by Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac - and we can promise you the site hasn’t lost its magic!
There is plenty of nature to keep you entertained throughout the weekend, or if picturesque villages are more your thing Wickhambreaux and Ickham are just a stone's throw away.
The Quaives is located:
- 15-minute drive from Canterbury West station (for the high speed trains)
- 10 minutes drive from Canterbury East
- 54 minutes train ride from London St Pancras International
- 44 minutes from Stratford Station
- 30 minutes from the beaches at Whitstable, Deal, Margate, Ramsgate & Folkestone
For those of you driving, there is free parking on-site.

Maria Pacha
Maria takes a light-hearted and playful approach to teaching, endeavoring to break down the barriers and preconceptions that prevent people from getting on to the mat in the first place. Her classes are energetic, with variations and modifications offered throughout to cater to all levels.
El Wilder
El’s classes are unjudgmental and dynamic, focusing on breath-led movement. Her background as a dancer is apparent through creative and playful sequences that work with a balance of strength and flexibility. She welcomes all levels into her classes, offering options and modifications to create a safe, nourishing space for every body.

A beautifully restored one-bedroomed cottage set within the herb garden with all the modern comforts and touches including underfloor heating, log burner and a sky-light over the shower. It has a king bed, kitchenette, lounge and shower room.

Songbird Cottage
Songbird cottage can be set up as a kingsize double bed or a cosy twin room and it has its own private lounge and shower room. This cottage was named after “Songbird” written by Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac who was the previous owner. She kept all of her records and awards in this building before it was lovingly transferred into another one-bedroomed cottage. With all the modern comforts and touches including underfloor heating, full equipped kitchenette and a stunning sky-light over the shower.

This quaint two-bedroomed property has been tastefully renovated with a great-sized lounge and separate kitchen with all the amenities. Both bedrooms can sleep 2 guests, with bedroom one having a king bed (can be split into two twins) and the other bedroom having a bunk bed.

Kula Dormitory
The kula-dorm was once the tack room for the family horses and has now been totally transformed into a beautiful eight-bed scandinavian-style dormitory. Opposite this building you will find another converted outbuilding that was once the gardeners tea room with a kitchenette and three gorgeous light filled shower bathrooms.
